Phyllis Johnson

Phylliss Johnson is a native of Wichita Kansas. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education while attending Wichita State University on a cheerleading scholarship.  In 2000 she founded Buckner Brooks & Heights Entertainment a 501c3 whose mission is to serve through fundraising. The organization partners with non profits that empowers women and children to strengthen the community. Through these partnerships her hope is to reduce homelessness, poverty, illiteracy, and sex trafficking by inspiring to create real change and bring financial support through creative fundraising.

Phylliss was influenced and mentored by three different teachers in the Wichita Public School District, Doris Tolle at BUCKNER Elementary, Kathy Knee at BROOKS Jr. High and Cheryl Neal Mc Farthing at HEIGHTS High school. The company name was her way to pay homage to the teachers who introduced and helped her honed her crafts in performing arts , theatre, music and dance.

Phylliss has been a member of  National Basketball Association Memphis Grizzlies senior citizen hip hop dance team, The Grizzlies Grannies & Grandpas since 2013.  This group volunteers at community and outreach events and perform at 18 home basketball games.

Her philanthropy work also includes her signature event, The I’m Every Woman Leadership Conference which is hosted in Wichita Memphis and St. Louis every summer.

Phylliss and her husband Lyle reside in suburb of Memphis, TN.

Gwen Jordan

Gwen Jordan, a native of Memphis, TN, has over 30 years of experience working with non-profit organizations in various executive roles.  Gwen currently serves as Administrative Director for BBH.  Gwen is also the CEO of GJ Multimedia Graphics, LLC, specializing in branding businesses/events through logo designs and marketing material. As a former stage actor/singer, she continues her love for the arts as a casting agent for television, feature films, and national commercials. 

 

She received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Multimedia Graphic Arts from Southwest Tennessee Community College. Her award-winning logo design was selected from over fifty entries. Gwen is committed to her community by volunteering with various non-profit organizations to support their branding and financial procedures.

 

Gwen is a mother of three children and resides in a suburb of Memphis, TN, with her husband, Al.

Jordan Collins

Jordan Collins received her Bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Kansas in the spring of 2021 and an Associates of Arts degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in spring 2016. When Jordan isn't busy helping us with talent booking, you can find her working full time as a Production Assistant at Entertainment Tonight. During her free time, you can find her babysitting, hanging out with friends or going to the beach.
